You Have Options!

In an effort to support different employments, family schedules and economic backgrounds, you have three options to take your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification Program!  FINANCING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE.  We are committed to never allowing finances to stand in anyone's way if they really want to train with us.

Level 1 and Level 2 Immersions

Complete your two x 100 hour programs at a location of your choice.These programs are each 8 days in length, which provide a more easeful financial and time commitment.  You can currently complete these programs at Rise Retreat, in Ucluelet Vancouver Island, Canada, Inspirit Studio, in High River, Alberta, Canada and at Playa Negra Yoga Retreat, in Playa Negra, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.


A 16 - 21 Day Immersion

Immerse yourself in your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training; held in Montreal, Montana and Costa Rica.  In our experience, some of the most successful teachers are born from these immersion trainings.  Our immersion programs are designed for students to really embody the learnings.  The days are long, the trainings are intense, and paired with experienced delivery of the course material and our post course assignments, you can guarantee you will be celebrating your success!


A 6 Month Extended Program

Our Extended Programs are perfect for those who are limited to travel and time commitment.  This style of program allows the teachings to really sink in, and also allows for more practice time.  These programs are currently offered at Rise Retreat, our British Columbia Location, The Yoga Club, our Montreal Location and with Rhoni Straub in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada.

Getting Your Certificate



  • KARMA YOGA:  5 Hours 

    • ​Choose a non-profit organization (i.e. homeless shelter, women's shelter, day care, Montessori school, etc.) to volunteer for 5 hours.

    • Karma Journal Assignment:  Record how you felt before and after your karma experience, include the date and location.

    • Email your Karma Yoga experience and journal assignment together.


  • ASANA  VIDEO:  Teach 3, 1-Hour Asana classes

    • Submit video (via You Tube or Vimeo link) to MSYI of your 1st asana class video.

    • You will receive feedback to implement on your 2nd video; and the same for your final asana class video.


  • MEDITATION VIDEO:  Teach 3, 15-Minute Meditations

    • Submit video (via You Tube or Vimeo link) to MSYI of your first meditation video.

    • You will receive feedback to implement on your 2nd video; and the same for your final meditation video.


  • Completion and Submission of your Final Course Essay Assignment

    • Your topic will be individually assigned to you upon submission of your last videos (asana & meditation).

    • Email your final essay assignment.
