We curated this retreat to accommodate those who want to dive deep within themselves for the purpose of gaining a greater awareness and insight of who they are and what they want.  This retreat will allow you to really connect to the person you want to be and help you create the life you want to create! 

This Retreat begins with your pre-retreat Dosha Test.  Your Dosha is your Ayurvedic body type.  Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and one of the oldest forms of natural medicine.  It is based off "life-science" techniques that are geared to create balance within our body, mind and soul.

You will have the opportunity each day to meet with our Certified Counsellor to speak about anything you feel is necessary to speak about - although it is recommended that you keep the silence.

Retreat schedule​:

FIRST & LAST DAY SCHEDULE

FIRST DAY: October 1

Arrival (participants are asked to hold silence as soon as they arrive onsite to our venue).  The program will begin at 2pm.  Once all guests arrive, we will host a greeting circle, which will include brief introductions, review of the 'ground rules' and review any questions. 530pm: Silent group walk to the beach for your sunset meditation.  700pm: Dinner - individualized to balance your specific Dosha.

LAST DAY: October 10

Departure.  530am: Rise and shine with your ayurvedic self oil massage (oil for your specific body type is provided), your ayurvedic tea blend (also individual and provided), and your morning guided meditation.  This mornings meditation will be in the form of Mantra - we will all chant the Lokah Mantra together - which is a blessing for all beings to receive health, love, peace and freedom.  Subsequently the group will get to share their experience and we will return to the venue for our departure breakfast.

THE DAILY SCHEDULE

October 2 - 9:​

530am

Rise and shine with your ayurvedic self oil massage (oil for your specific body type is provided), your ayurvedic tea blend (also individual and provided), and your morning guided meditation.​  

700am

A very gentle yoga-based guided movement class with connection, gentle stretching, balance and rejuvenation as the core focus. At the end of class you will be assigned you daily Self Inquiry Journal assignment.

900am

Breakfast - individualized to balance your specific Dosha.

1000am

We begin one-on-one necessary private speaking appointments (with your certified counsellor). Sessions are 30 minutes in length.

Noon

Lunch - individualized to balance your specific Dosha.

1:30pm

Optional Personal Development Workshop (60 minutes) - that aligns with your morning journal assignment.  

530pm

Silent group walk to the beach for your sunset meditation.  

700pm

Dinner - individualized to balance your specific Dosha.

 

Casa Alacrán is a 6 - bedroom private home located in the beach community of Rancho Playa Negra - minutes away from the beautiful beach of Playa Negra.

Boasting a private yoga deck, 2 kitchens, AC rooms and a private pool, and being only a few minutes walking distance to the beach, this is the perfect venue for your Silent Retreat!
